Lisa Ruiz
I love what I do! Providing excellent customer service means everything to me. I believe in treating my customers with honesty and respect while listening to their needs and desires. I am an effective negotiator with strong attention to detail in this ever changing market. I am a native San Diegan with over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry. Prior to becoming a licensed real estate agent I was an escrow officer and loan processor. Those years of experience enhance my knowledge and allow me to confidently walk my buyers and sellers through all parts of the transaction. My real estate experience combined with excellent negotiating skills allows me to maintain my position as Top Producing Realtor in my office and East County. I am excited and honored to be a part of this special time in your life!
Carisa Maki
As a native of San Diego, Carisa takes pride in knowing her beautiful city well and all that it has to offer! A graduate of San Diego State University, she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Financial Services. Â Carisa was employed in retail and corporate banking, where she worked with loan officers at several institutions to gain experience in the Real Estate Industry. As a notary public for 8 years, she worked alongside many agents to ensure successful loan closings. Â
After receiving her Real Estate License in 2005, she gained experience and knowledge working with successful agents in East County as both a Transaction Assistant and Licensed Agent. Throughout these experiences she has developed long standing quality relationships with several local escrow and title companies as she assisted in the buying and selling of a wide variety of homes in San Diego. Carisa strives to take the utmost care of her clients throughout the entire process of buying or selling a home. Working hard to ensure her they are not only satisfied, but at ease throughout their entire transaction is her top priority!
Rebecca Brant
A highly experienced and licensed native San Diegan with over 14 years of experience in the Real Estate industry. Originally obtaining her license at the age of 18 Rebecca fell in love with the real estate industry and has never looked back! She learned a lot of what she knows by working directly with her grandmother who was a real estate broker for 30+ years before retiring. She has worked not only as a Transaction & Listing Coordinator to one of North County’s top producing agents but was also the Executive Assistant to the President and Vice President of the San Diego Association of Realtors for multiple years. In addition to these roles she also managed one of San Diego’s busiest foreclosure companies that at one point had over 400 listings in a single month in both San Diego and Scottsdale, Arizona. Â
She is now here at the Lisa Ruiz Team as the full time Listing Coordinator and Transaction Manager. With her vast knowledge in all aspects of the real estate industry and understanding of real estate law you can rest assured when she is handling the sale or purchase of your home that it will be done so with the utmost professionalism!
Mike Spears
Born in Chicago but grew up in the East County, Mike Spears began his career playing minor league baseball and recently retired from Law Enforcement before his transition into Real Estate. Realizing his personal relation skills Mike wanted a career opportunity to continue to touch people’s lives.
Mike brings confidence, loyalty, determination and great integrity to his real estate practice. His desire to serve is second to none. Mike will not treat you like a client but as a family member, as you will find out when dealing with him. Mike strives to build personal long term relationships and takes his responsibilities serious.
 Mike is married and has two beautiful daughters.
